I was born in Isfahan, Iran on May 6, 1973. I received a B.Sc. degree in Statistics from Shiraz University (SU), an M.Sc. degree in Mathematical Statistics from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) and a Ph.D. degree in Probability Theory and Stochastic Processes from SU, Iran. Since 2005 I have been with the Department of Mathematical Sciences, IUT, as an assistant professor. In between, I spent one year as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), Belgium. My research interests include Stochastic Processes and Modeling, particularly Stable processes, random measures, Markov processes and Time series analysis also subjects related to theory and applied probability with a focus on Queuing theory and Reliability .
